National Academy of Sciences
Dan Melnick has served as a consultant to the Committee on National Statistics since 2001. Most recently he prepared the workshop report for a panel working on issues relating to the reporting of racial and ethnic data in the Department of Health and Human Services. He has also been a consultant to panels working on statistical issues in formula allocation, drug abuse statistics, and labor conditions of US companies with foreign facilities.
